Letter from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am pleased to write to you on behalf of Quad Cities Christian Jr/Sr High School (QCCS) to highlight the core values and mission that drive our educational approach. At QCCS, we take great pride in offering a comprehensive education that integrates rigorous academics with a Biblical worldview. Our goal is to nurture students who not only excel academically but also grow spiritually, physically, and socially.

One of the foundational beliefs at QCCS is the importance of strong communication between home and school. We value your involvement in your child’s education and believe that working together is essential for the success of our students. We encourage you to stay actively engaged in your child’s academic journey, whether through regular communication with teachers, participation in school events, or involvement in our parent-teacher association.

Ultimately, our desire is that all students who graduate from QCCS are not only well-prepared academically but also equipped with a deep and lasting faith in Christ. We strive to create an environment where students are encouraged to seek Christ in all aspects of their lives, both inside and outside the classroom. We seek to develop the fruit of godly character in our students’ lives so that they may be confident young men and women of integrity.

Thank you for entrusting us with the education and spiritual growth of your child. We look forward to partnering with you in this important endeavor.

Sincerely,

Beth G. Vedrik

Dual Enrollment

Quad Cities Christian School has partnered with Campus Edu to offer dual enrollment classes, allowing high school students to earn college credit during their elective period. Here are some important details:

  • To sign up for Campus Edu classes, students will select Campus as their elective on the Google form they receive for electives.
  • Each class will run for one semester, and the cost is $300, which will be billed through FACTS.
  • Dual enrollment is open to all 10th-12th graders at QCCS.
  • Visit our Campus landing page using the link provided to view the course preview for Fall 2023 classes.
  • If your student is interested in registering, they can simply fill out the boxes next to the classes they’re interested in and click Register.
  • If they don’t see a class they’re interested in right now, different classes will be available in the spring.

– It’s important for all students to have headphones (USB plug) or earbuds compatible with a Chromebook.
– CampusEdu classes will take place during 5th period. All online students will be in a classroom with a teacher, but learning is self-directed, so students need to be self-disciplined to log in, keep up with lessons and homework, and seek help if needed.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate. We’re incredibly excited about this partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University and the Campus program, which allows us to collaborate with high-quality Christian colleges nationwide!

Dual Enrollment is available for grades 10-12.
